Arabis & Aubrieta Plants

Aubrieta form a mat of flowers and are great for the front of a border or look great planted in the crevices of stone walls or in rockeries. They are fully hardy and best planted in autumn to ensure optimum flowering next spring. They prefer full sun but will grow in semi-shade. They prefer well draining soil and are low maintenance. 

Arabis is another reliable low growing, mat-forming plant with delicate white flowers. Unlike aubrieta, they have a sweet smell. Looks great paired with aubrieta and bellflowers and the bees love them.
